Schindler, J.W.; Adamson, A.W.
Inorg. Chem. 21: 4236-40 (1982)

Pt(CN)42– quenched by FeIII-EDTA at conc. ~9 x 10–4 mol L–1
Solvent : H2O, 24ºC, [Fe]/[L] = 1

kq = 1.8 x 109(L mol–1 s–1)

Experimental methods: steady state irradiation, luminescence
Lifetime in the absence of quencher, air free = 0.45 micro sec. (laser flash, luminescence, single shot signal)
Comments: [S] = 0.092 mol/L, as Ba2+ salt; forms oligomers
